~May 28th Opening Exhibition"SOPHISTICATED EXUBERANCE"Chris Stone's marble and sandstone sculptures, introduced in the United States in November of last year, brought a new level of classical interest to Lady Audrey's Gallery. Chris is now producing a whimsical collection of sculptures exclusively for us. Combine his "Family of Man" collection with the effervescent oil paintings in the latest series from Liz Lambert, "Ophelia's Flowers", and you have a gallery full of really good, joyful art.My favorite quote from Chris is "look at a piece, love it or hate it, but don't try to understand it". Now, doesn't that just take all the angst out of visiting an art gallery? This is a show that will make you feel good. No overthinking things, just beautiful pieces of completely original art. No derivitive styles here.
"Ophelia's Flowers: 'And there is pansies, that's for thoughts.'
